Málaga province will see cold spells and strong winds over the weekend
Málaga is in for a cold, cloudy and blustery weekend. Here’s the forecast for Thursday November 4 – Monday November 8 in the Andalusian province.
Málaga temperatures
Minimum temperatures will drop from Thursday November 4 throughout the province of Málaga and will remain low over the weekend until at least Monday, while maximum temperatures will remain unchanged except on Saturday.
According to the Aemet, Málaga capital city will see temperatures of around 13ºC tonight, two degrees less than yesterday, and drop down again to 9ºC in the early hours of Sunday morning, when it will start going up again.
In Antequera it will take one more day to go up again, as the night temperatures are expected to fall by three degrees on Thursday, reaching as low as 3ºC for the weekend. As for Ronda, minimum temperatures will vary between 4ºC and 5ºC from Friday to Monday. Fuengirola, Marbella, Nerja and Torremolinos will be the only towns in Málaga that don’t drop below 10ºC.
Cloud cover
The sky will be slightly cloudy in the southwestern part of the province from 11am on Thursday morning, although by 2pm it is expected to clear up completely. In the second half of Friday there will be cloudy intervals, and on Saturday all of the south of the province of Málaga which will be cloudy, but by the evening the clouds will clear away. On Sunday there will be no clouds at any point, but on Monday morning the north of the province will be cloudy again, moving towards the centre of the province as the day progresses. As for Tuesday November 9, all of the southern part of the province will be cloudy and as the day progresses the north will also cease to be clear.
Strong winds
There will be strong gusts of wind on Thursday afternoon in many places, such as in Manilva, where winds will reach up to 23km/h in a southeasterly direction at around 4pm, and up to 22km/h in Almáchar. The wind in Nerja will also be as strong as 23km/h at 11pm, while for the rest of the days there are no major weather warnings. However, in the final stretch of Sunday November 7 there could be gusts of up to 20km/h in Torremolinos.
