The rain keeps pouring down: Andalusia weather forecast October 23-29
ARCHIVED ARTICLE -
Most parts of the region will see rain this week

It has been an incredibly windy weekend in the west of Andalucía, with gusts blowing down trees left, right and centre in Cádiz and Huelva, causing mayhem.

This week will be a bit less intense and as yet no new weather alerts have been issued for the region, although it will take some time to return to the normal sunny conditions we expect from southern Spain.
Monday October 23 will continue to be wet in the centre and west, while Cádiz and the Strait of Gibraltar is still on yellow alert for waves of up to 4-5 metres in height.

On Tuesday 24 it will keep raining across the centre of the region, from Jaén in the north down to Málaga on the coast, and will only clear up in the evening. At night, though, is when the rain shifts over to the west again and Huelva will get another soaking.
The rain will ping-pong back and forth between the west and the centre of Andalucía all week long, while Almería in the far southeastern corner remains dry and sunny.
Still, it should be markedly less windy this week, with just Wednesday 25 bringing windspeeds up to around 25kmh all along the Andalucía coast.
It will be a couple of degrees cooler than it was last week, and for the first time in months, Córdoba and Seville will not be the hottest places in the region, but rather the coasts of Málaga and Almería will lead the way with maximum daytime temperatures in the mid-20s. The Sierra Nevada mountains in Granada may begin to see snow as snow levels drop down to 2,000 metres.

Finally, by Friday October 27 and moving into next weekend, the last of the rain should have cleared and it will be a sunny weekend for all, if not entirely clear of lingering cloud cover.
