Representatives of the Municipalities political groups were also informed.
The mayor has indicated that “in the face of these cybercriminals, I ask for institutional and social unity. We will work to recover the normality that we have seen violated. The personal data that may have been affected would be related to the management of municipal services, including basic identification data and data associated with the administrative procedures managed by the Town Council, as well as the data of its internal services in relation to its internal management.
The cyber attack focuses on the availability of data, encrypting all the information referred to above and on which work is already being done with the intention of restoring the affected services as soon as possible.
As a precaution, people who communicate with the Town Council, and especially those whose information has been provided through electronic means, are recommended to exercise extreme caution when handling their personal information.
