When and where rain is forecast in Murcia this week: Weather outlook December 2-8

For the most part it will be sunny this weekend, but some showers are forecast at times

There are some fluctuations in temperatures forecast for this week in Murcia, as well as a couple of showery spells, but for the most part it will be dry, sunny, bright and mild.

For Monday December 2, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts stable temperatures with sunny but “partly cloudy” conditions for the whole Region of Murcia, with the exception of the mountainous area around Bullas and Caravaca de la Cruz, which will have “light rain” throughout the afternoon.

No rain is forecast for Tuesday 3, and the cloud cover should also clear up, leaving a spotless blue December sky to contemplate as temperatures reach up to 19-23ºC during the afternoon.

Wednesday December 4 will bring “light rain” in the early hours of the morning, especially to the central, southern and coastal parts of Murcia, but it should clear up by the time most people wake up. Good for a bit of puddle splashing in the December sun.

From that point onwards, Aemet forecasts only sunshine and some cloud cover for the rest of the week and going into the weekend, which happens to be a ‘puente’ or long 4-day weekend, with Friday December 6 and Monday 9 both being bank holidays.

For Sunday 8, there could be a bit of a dip in temperatures, with minimums at night dropping to around 4-8ºC in the north and centre, and to 10-13ºC in the south, while the maximums will be around 14-17ºC in the north and 17-19ºC in the south. Still, it is forecast to be nice and bright and sunny as usual with just a few clouds in the sky.
