New infections, deaths and hospital admissions remain on an upward trajectory in Alicante province and the rest of the region
A combination of factors including the scrapping of masks in most indoor venues and settings and the return of tradition fiestas has led to a rise in all coronavirus indicators, with 74 people admitted to hospitals in Alicante province and the rest of the region since last Friday.
