Children’s entertainment dominates the festive season schedule in Bullas and La Copa

As is the case throughout the Region of Murcia the events scheduled over Christmas, New Year and Three Kings in Bullas are dominated by fun and activities for children, although with a sprinkling of concerts for grown-ups and activities for all the family.

Father Christmas is at his house in the Plaza de España until December 26, from 17.00 to 21.30, alongside a Christmas tree which has been made from recycled bottles, while suggested nativity scenes can be visited following the Ruta de los Belenes.

An unusual nativity scene is the one which has been set up on the top of the Castellar mountain by the local mountaineering group!

Thursday December 22

19.30: A “Zambombada” event organized by fans of flamenco in the Parque Mariano Rojas.

Friday December 23

20.30: Christmas concert by the Asociación Villa de Bullas at the church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario.

Saturday December 24

10.30 to 14.00: Father Christmas takes delivery of present letters in the Plaza de España, where plenty of other activities will also be taking place.

Monday December 26

11.30 to 14.00: “Jugamos en familia”, free fun and games for all the family at the Centro Juvenil La Almazara.

Tuesday December 27

18.30: Children’s theatre, “Nube Nube” at the Casa de Cultura, tickets 3 euros available here.

Wednesday December 28

16.30: Recycled toys workshop for children aged 6-11 at the Centro Social de la Cruz, no registration charge.

Thursday December 29

17.00: Story-telling for infants at the library, registration 2 euros.

Friday December 30

18.30: Children’s theatre, “La aventura de Bruno y Estela” at the Casa de Cultura, tickets 5 euros available here.

Saturday December 31

12.00 midday: Children’s New Year in the Plaza De España.

17.00: Children’s San Silvestre running race.

18.00: The main San Silvestre races for adults over distances of 3,000 and 6,000 metres.

Monday January 2

17.00: New Year concert at the church of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación y del Perpetuo Socorro in La Copa, given by the Banda Juvenil Villa de Bullas.

Tuesday January 3

17.00: The Three Kings take delivery of present letters in the Casa de la Cultura.

Wednesday January 4

17.00: CocinArte cookery workshop for children aged 7 to 10 at the municipal library, registration 3 euros.

Thursday January 5

17.00: Fun and games for children in the Plaza de España.

18.00: Official reception for the Three Kings in the Plaza de España.

18.30: The Grand Three Kings Parade in the streets of Bullas.
