Cádiz boosts tourist services for Holy Week visitors

Tourist offices across the city extend their hours, with new QR codes for easy access to information
Cádiz is gearing up for a busy Easter as the City Council enhances its tourist services during the Holy Week celebrations. From Sunday April 13 to Sunday April 20, the city’s Tourist Information Points will be open to offer guidance to both visitors and residents alike. Located in popular areas such as La Victoria and La Caleta beaches, as well as Puntales, these offices will be available every day, from 12 noon to 6pm, providing a helpful base for those looking to explore the city.
The Puntales location, which serves a slightly different crowd, will be open from 10am to 2pm. These are in addition to the city’s permanent offices on Paseo de Canalejas and Avenida Periodista Beatriz Cienfuegos, ensuring that the city’s most visited areas are well covered during one of its busiest times of the year.
The aim is simple: make sure tourists have all the information they need to enjoy their stay. From local restaurants and hotels to cultural events and transport schedules, the offices will provide up-to-date details on everything happening in and around Cádiz. For the first time, visitors will also be able to access information about Holy Week processions through newly introduced QR codes. The codes will link to details about local events, including procession itineraries, which will be available in English and French.
This initiative responds to the growing demand for tourist services in Cádiz, particularly during peak times like Easter. The QR codes will make it even easier for visitors to plan their time in the city, helping them discover what’s on offer without missing a beat.
And it's not just the tourist offices that are extending their hours. The Torreón de las Puertas de Tierra, along with its immersive experience, will also adjust its timetable for the holidays. Starting Palm Sunday, the landmark will remain open from 11am to 6pm every day, except for Holy Monday, offering a great opportunity for those looking to explore Cádiz’s rich history, especially during important periods such as Easter time.
