Catral, Almoradí and Torrevieja are some of the towns representing the Costa Blanca at the 2025 International Tourism Fair
The Costa Blanca is set to make an exciting return to the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2025 in Madrid, which runs from January 22 to 26. This year, the Vega Baja region will showcase its rich cultural tapestry, renowned celebrations and exceptional gastronomy, positioning itself as a destination that offers much more than just sun and sand.
FITUR, short for Feria Internacional de Turismo, is one of the largest and most important tourism trade fairs in the world. Held annually in the Spanish capital, FITUR brings together professionals from the global tourism industry to showcase their destinations, products and services.
It serves as an important platform for towns and cities to promote themselves as attractive holiday destinations.
The Alicante municipalities will be located in pavilion number 7, under the banner of the Costa Blanca brand, and here they will present novel tourist attractions alongside tried and tested destinations and activities.
The presentations will kick off with Catral, which will promote its Santa Águeda and Chupinazo festivals. These vibrant celebrations are a testament to the region's deep-rooted cultural heritage and the warm hospitality of its residents.
