Half-price package holiday deals to Murcia in 2025!

The tourist voucher is back in the Region of Murcia with travel discounts of up to 50%

Murcia has unveiled the latest edition of its popular tourist voucher program, offering travellers a chance to experience the Region of Murcia at half the cost. Starting this Monday January 13, the initiative covers up to 50% of expenses for holiday packages, which includes accommodation, meals, excursions and activities.

The 'Bono Turístico' tourist voucher covers half the cost of trips up to a maximum of 250 euros, once the holidaymaker spends at least two nights in the same accommodation.

The initiative's main objective is to continue to boost regional tourism during the mid and low seasons and to support the activity of local travel agencies.

The discount travel campaign is open to adults who are resident in any part of Spain, not just the Region of Murcia and cut-price trips can be booked any time up until Thursday May 22 via the official website.

After completing the registration, applicants will receive a promotional code that will allow them to apply the discount in accommodations and travel agencies participating in the programme.

An initial budget of 350,000 euros has been allocated, although the government will extend this to 1 million if the demand is high enough.

Since the Region of Murcia launched this initiative in 2021, it has issued more than 7,500 tourist vouchers to date, which have translated into 16,700 overnight stays and have had a direct impact on regional tourist establishments of 2 million euros, not counting the expenditure generated by tourists on complementary offers of bars, restaurants, commerce, transport or active tourism activities.

How to get your tourist voucher, step by step

To secure a tourist voucher, simply request it free of charge through the website.

Log on to the website www.turismoregiondemurcia.es/es/bono_turistico/ murciaturistica.es
Click 'Purchase' in the 'Purchase your first voucher ' window.
Fill out the form and you will receive an email with the voucher and a promotional code.
Once you’ve downloaded the voucher and code, you have 7 calendar days to make a reservation at any of the travel agencies participating in the programme.
The voucher will expire if the reservation is not made within this period and while travellers can apply again, they may be put on a waiting list if the demand is high.
