All bars and restaurants are allowed to open external terraces, but the interior area permitted to open varies from place to place
The Murcian regional Covid Monitoring Committee met on Monday 14th to evaluate the data gathered from last week and has allocated the municipalities of the region as follows.
From Wednesday December 16th most bars and restaurants in the Murcia Region are permitted to serve food inside their premises as well as on external terraces and residents may cross internal municipal boundaries into other municipalities.
There are only two exceptions; Los Alcázares and Torre Pacheco, in which the borders remain closed and the interiors of bars remain closed, although residents can continue use the outdoor terraces of hostelries in these two municipalities.

The curfew from 23:00 until 06:00, limit on the size of a group permitted to meet as 6 people and regional perimeter border closure are maintained.
The external regional perimeter is closed until after the holiday on 6th January for non-essential travel.

Shops are only permitted to open to 50% of their total capacity.
This only covers Los Alcázares and Torre Pacheco. Furthermore, residents from these two municipalities are not permitted to cross the borders of their municipality this week.Everywhere else, the municipal borders have now re-opened.

Bars can only open 30% of internal capacity:
Terraces open 100%
No food may be consumed at the bar
Take-away service can be offered
Masks must be worn when not actively eating or drinking

Shops are only permitted to open to 50% of their total capacity.
Alguazas, San Pedro del Pinatar, Alhama de Murcia, Moratalla and Abanilla.
In all of these localitions the incidence rate is considered to be very high (between 250 and 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).

Archena, Villanueva del Río Segura, Cehegín, San Javier, Mazarrón, Yecla, Calasparra, Totana, Aledo, Puerto Lumbreras, Jumilla, Cieza, Santomera, Lorca, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cartagena, Fuente Álamo, La Unión, Ulea, Murcia, Fortuna, Águilas, Campos del Río and Ricote.
In these areas the incidence rate is between 75 and 250 cases per 100,000
Low risk areas (shown in jade green)
Hostelries can open to 75% of internal capacity
Terraces open 100%
Food may be consumed at the bar
Masks must be worn when not actively eating or drinking

This affects Beniel, Molina de Segura, Alcantarilla, Librilla, Pliego, Ceutí, Lorquí, Mula, Las Torres de Cotillas, Blanca, Bullas, Abarán, Ojós and Albudeite .
The situation will once again be reviewed next Monday.
