Spectacular action in the port of Cartagena with world champion Daniel Guerra among the participants

September 8 to 10 European Flysky Championships in the port of Cartagena

The European Hydrofly, Flysky or Flyski championships are being held over the second weekend of September in the sheltered waters of the port of Cartagena, with members of the public expected to congregate at the Escala Real to see the spectacular action as the aquatic acrobats competing show off their skills while propelled by strong jets of water.

The 16 main competitors are from Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Colombia, Korea and Poland, and the competition lasts from Friday September 8 to Sunday September 10, with those from Europe hoping to lift the European title. Each competitor will be judged on three individual rounds, and the action takes place on Friday (morning and afternoon), Saturday (morning and afternoon) and Sunday (morning only).

Morning timetables are 10.30 to 14.00 while in the afternoon the action takes place from 16.00 to 19.00.

Among the participants is world champion Daniel Guerra from Colombia, while the Spaniards competing are María López, Elena Vera, Clara Múñoz, Carlos Roberto, Enrique Soriano, Jorge Encabo, Alberto Leceta, and brothers David and José Antonio Berbel.
