Torre Pacheco tourist office The tourist office of Torre Pacheco was created as recently as 2003, during the residential tourism boom which saw numerous golf resorts appear both within and alongside the municipality, and since then has grown both in importance and in the quality of services it provides to both residents and tourists.

Initially the efforts of the staff focussed on four main tourist routes – those of Cabezo Gordo, the windmills in the countryside, the crop-growing areas and the town centre – but since then numerous other aspects have proved at least as popular. These include open days at the Sima de las Palomas prehistoric archaeological and paleontological site, gastronomy events, and many more.
