ARCHIVED - New Camposol Free Community Sports looks to expand its activities

The “Camposol Free Community Sports” group has been set up for all ages and fitness levels to exercise and have some fun

An exciting month ahead in November with the Christmas competitions to be announced and some great news coming up about the creation of a new Competitive Petanca League, with players from all sectors of Camposol, Condado de Alhama, El Paretón, Mazarrón Country Club, Mazarrón, Puerto de Mazarrón and Bolnuevo all invited to sign up and put teams forward.

This will be great for integration with other local areas and home and away fixtures are planned for this.

This is of course in addition to the regular events which are still growing and evolving all the time.

There have been some fantastic guided walks taking place throughout October, again organised through the Facebook group and more are planned throughout November. Thanks to the organisers for their efforts and hard work in making this happen, most walks finish with either a breakfast or meal at a local restaurant and are another great way to get out and about in the beautiful surrounding area and meet new friends.

Camposol Free Community Sports regular events

• Mondays 10am-11am Walking Football (mixed and all ages) at the community sports pitch Calle Nogales, Campòsol D7
• Tuesdays 1pm-3pm Board Games and activities Cats Bar Sector A, Camposol
• Wednesday 4pm-5pm Walking Netball at the Condado Club
• Thursdays 10am-11am Ladies only walking football at the community sports pitch Calle Nogales, Camposol D7
• Fridays 10.15am-11.15am Walking Football (mixed and all ages) community sports pitch Calle Nogales, Camposol D7
• Fridays 5pm-6pm Petanca, skittles and dominoes, Petanca Courts, Calle Piteras, D26 Camposol, Sector D.

These events can change slightly from time to time but all updates are well advertised through the facebook page.

And most importantly, it’s all organised and made possible by our dedicated sponsors, members and volunteers.
