ARCHIVED - Progressive re-opening of medical consultorios from this week onwards.
ARCHIVED ARTICLE These outlying doctor’s surgeries were closed in March to enable the health service to focus its resources and limit the risk to health service staff
Surgeries were closed throughout the Murcia Region from March 17th onwards in order to focus resources and minimise the risk for health service professionals but with the number of cases continuing to fall the decision has now been taken to begin the process of re-opening the consultorios on a gradual basis.
Health Area 1: which includes the Hospital Clínico Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca in Murcia city and covers the following:

Murcia/Algezares
Murcia/Aljucer
Murcia/Campo de Cartagena
Murcia/El Palmar
Murcia/Espinardo
Murcia/La Alberca
Murcia/La Ñora
Murcia/Nonduermas
Murcia/San Andrés
Murcia/Sangonera La Verde
On Monday 11th activity resumes at the peripheral points in nursing and administration, and blood tests resume. Patients can call and arrange to speak to their doctor telephonically, and the family doctor will be available on alternate days to attend to the patients that have previously been agreed after a telephone consultation. This excludes anyone believing that they are suffering from Covid-19 who must continue to use the helpline.
Consultorios opening this week; Barqueros, in the Alcantarilla / Sangonera health area; the Avileses, Gea and Truyols and Lobosillo clinics, and the Yéchar clinic, in Mula. The Los Garres clinic is already open.

This week the plan is to open the Miranda consultorio in the Los Dolores area; the consultorios of Las Palas, Balsapintada and Cuevas in the Fuente Álamo area; the consultorios of La Puebla and La Aparecida, in Cartagena Este; Cañada Gallego, in the Mazarrón area, Roche in La Unión. The consultorio of El Albujón in the area of Pozo Estrecho will open on May 18th.

Shortly Tercia, in Lorca San Diego; La Torrecilla, in Lorca Sur; Purias and Cazalla, in Lorca Sutullena; el Esparragal and el Barrio El Francés (pediatric), in Puerto Lumbreras.
Area IV Northwest which covers:
Bullas
Calasparra
Caravaca
Caravaca/Barranda
Cehegín
Moratalla
Archivel, in Barranda/Campo de Caravaca de la Cruz; El Moral, El Moralejo and Los Royos, in Cañada de la Cruz; Valentín in Calasparra: La Copa, in Bullas, and Canara, in Cehegín.
Area 8, Mar Menor, Balsicas, Lo Pagán, Dolores de Pacheco, Los Narejos, Roldán and Santiago de la Ribera.
Area 9, Vega Alta del Segura, La Hoya del Campo and San José Artesano.
