September 18-21 Medieval market in Molina de Segura

Molina de Segura is celebrating its patron saint festivities with a free event packed with crafts food historical displays and activities

Molina de Segura is holding its medieval market as part of its 2026 patron saint festivities, with the event opening on Friday September 18 and continuing until Monday September 21.

The market opens at 8pm on Friday and will remain open throughout the weekend, finally closing at 10pm on Monday. Entry is free, making it an easy option for families and anyone looking for something a little different to do this weekend.

Visitors can browse stalls packed with handmade and traditional products, including jewellery, incense, natural products, handmade soaps, teas and spices, ceramics, plants, Arabic perfumes, silverware and toys.

There will also be plenty to eat and drink, with stalls selling cheeses, honey, mojitos and candied nuts, as well as a traditional tavern where visitors can stop for food while taking in the medieval atmosphere.

A historical recreation area will recreate a Visigothic camp, giving visitors a chance to see how people lived and worked in another era. There will be displays of historical weapons along with demonstrations of ancient trades, giving visitors a closer look at traditional skills and crafts.

The programme also includes traditional archery, historical fencing demonstrations, weapons displays and medieval-themed workshops.
