October 16 Raquel Tours Murcia hosts last catamaran trip of the season in Cartagena
The Friday sailing includes complimentary cava and transfers from golf resorts across Murcia
Raquel Tours Murcia is waving goodbye to summer with one last catamaran trip around Cartagena Bay on Friday October 16, and passengers are being encouraged to dress in white for the occasion.
The three-hour excursion leaves from Cartagena's historic marina, in one of Spain's oldest port cities, and sails past the lighthouse and ancient military forts before dropping anchor for an hour so everyone can swim or soak up the sun.
Complimentary cava is served on board, and the trip back comes with music, a cold drink and the city skyline in the background.
Each passenger also gets a complimentary snack pack, and the packaging is worth keeping because every one carries a number for a prize raffle. Drinks and extra snacks can be bought on board, and anyone who wants to make a day of it can book lunch or dinner at a seafront restaurant in the old town afterwards, with lots of fresh fish, tapas and paella on the menu.
Return transfers are included from pick-up points at Hacienda del Álamo, La Torre, El Valle, Altaona, Las Terrazas de la Torre, Mar Menor, Roda, La Serena and Corvera golf resorts, as well as Santa Rosalía and Murcia city, with other locations available on request. The journey takes 45 to 60 minutes, so the whole trip comes to around five hours door to door.
Tickets cost €59 per person and €49 for children up to 12,. The price covers the return transfers and the catamaran trip with insurance, while drinks and meals can be added.
Raquel Tours is a local operator near Murcia's golf courses that specialises in day trips for resort guests, and its other excursions include a Murcia City Tour, a Jumilla Wine Tour and a Mazarrón Coastal Excursion. Guides speak English, Dutch, Flemish, German, French, Italian and Spanish, which helps mixed groups of couples, families and friends all follow along.
Spaces are limited, so it's worth getting in touch early. To book or find out more, send a WhatsApp message to +34 602 362 594 or visit RaquelToursMurcia.com.
